The client never used her dining room as such. It was filled with a foosball table (which hadn't been used in a while because it was piled high with stuff), a dresser, a bookcase filled with mainly unused books and knickknacks, and lots of stuff on the floor.

Together, we repainted and repurposed her dining room, where she longed to sit and eat with her family. The foosball table was set up for use in the family room, the dresser was put in a guest bedroom, the bookcase was purged and moved to the family room. Her favorite knickknacks were placed on display above the table.
